I don't know what to say about the little tapestries I'm weaving right now. So I guess I'll just hold on tight and let them go where they will.

You don't have to say anything---- they speak for themselves!

And I can't wait to see you here in the glorious green of June, Patti, and even more, can't wait to see what marvelous things you've made and drawn and woven and painted since last I saw you.

I just have to say how much I love your little tapestries. They bring me a sense of peace after a very crazy day. I'm wondering--what kind of loom did you use for these little tapestries? I can only imagine how delightful the loom is in order to achieve such sweet tapestries. Thank you for your inspiration.

Hello Ann, What a wonderful thing to hear about these little works. They make me feel peaceful too -- other than when I fret about how different they are from most of my previous work, and how differently they grow on the loom. But of course that is also part of the delight. My loom, by the way, is a simple tensioned frame made out of galvanized/ black pipe. These little tapestries were woven on one made of 1/8" pipe. More info/ directions and dimensions are in a couple of previous blog posts in the category "vague Instructions".
